INTEX Millwork Solutions is very excited to announce that Susan Tall has joined the INTEX team. She will be filling the role of Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for all aspects of the business.
Below is a some information on Susan’s background;
Susan has more than 30 years’ experience in turnarounds, operational restructurings, streamlining organizations utilizing Lean principals, strategic planning and implementation, and advisory services. Her ability to quickly assess a company’s operational and financial factors and synthesize the necessary actions for optimal results has enabled her success in company turnarounds and restructuring . She has demonstrated the ability to be a strong partner with companies key managers to achieve the results necessary in the rapid execution of turnaround plans . She has effectively demonstrated success in key operational roles for a variety of industries.
Susan embraces Lean principals in evaluating and executing significant organizational changes. She has extensive experience in the building supply, building products, manufacturing, automotive, healthcare products and services and consumer goods. Susan’s ability to work in a broad range of industries in challenging environments to achieve significant results in a short period of time has been the hallmark of her career. She began her career with General Electric and worked through their Manufacturing and Financial Management Programs – both class work and management assignments throughout appliances and power systems for six years. Her consulting work began at Coopers & Lybrand where she was instrumental in streamlining the automatic transmission division within Ford Motor Company. She also provided due diligence for several acquisition teams.
Some of the other significant engagements Susan has led include: Ford Motor Company, National Envelope, Archbrook Laguna, Universal Supply, USLBM, Jeld-Wen, Patriot Manufacturing, MW Windows, Republic Windows, Heritage Kitchen Cabinets, Victory Refrigeration, Estee Lauder, Graphic Controls, Alcon Surgical, Mercy Hospital, Fairfax Hospital, Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, GUND, Graco Products, Prologis, Plymouth Printing, Fairfield Manufacturing, Woodstream Industries, and CertainTeed, . Her clients have included both publicly-held and privately-owned companies ranging from $20 million to over $2 billion in revenues.
Prior to forming Hawkwood, Susan spent the previous 5 years in turnarounds and restructuring and more than 25 years in key operations positions with her own firm, Coopers & Lybrand and GE.
